Parent Survey Announcement

RECEIVE ONE VOLUNTEER HOUR for completing and submitting the Parent Survey. You will receive this survey by email to your home or you can log on to SIS and click on the link under ANNOUNCEMENTS.
(The notice will read "Mid-Year Parent Satisfaction Survey") This survey will provide us with valuable information on the performance & operations of your charter school. We appreciate your input and thank you for participating. The deadline for submitting the survey is May 25, 2012.

Changing the Way Your Child Goes Home

For the safety of your child, all changes to the way students go home must be done in writing. We will not accept phone calls. Please send a note to school with your child or fax the information with a copy of your Florida's Driver's License to us at 407-891-7330.

Early Dismissal

Students will not be dismissed early to parents after 3:00p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays and 2:00p.m. on Wednesdays.

Canoe Creek Charter Academy provides students with the necessary tools and skills needed to develop superior levels of achievement. What is a Charter School?

Charter schools are part of a sweeping educational reform that places the highest priority on providing a better education. Charter schools are tuition free and are funded much like a public school, but each charter school is governed privately. Private governance places accountability squarely on the shoulders of the entity running the schools. Every dollar spent through the charter school system is focused on furthering each student’s education. Charter schools can be managed by municipalities, private companies or individuals.

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is one of the largest providers of charter school management services in the nation. CSUSA manages private and municipal charters for grades Pre-K through 12.
